This resort is right on the hotel strip in Cancun. Only about a 15 min drive from the airport. The resort has 601 rooms but does not feel big. It has one huge main pool with two swim up bars that overlook the beach and ocean. The beach here is very nice and a great backdrop for a ceremony. Hard Rock is known for their music and parties, and they tend to cater to those crowds.

All of the rooms are currently being updated, so by next year they should have all of them done, so all of the rooms should be like new! Some of their rooms at this resort have a view of the lagoon instead of the ocean, which is still nice that all rooms do have a water view.

The wedding packages for Hard Rock resorts are a little different, they will start with the free package which includes the ceremony, cake and wine for up to 32 guests, which I think would be perfect for your group, then you would just add any extra events at an additional cost like a reception or cocktail hour.

With only 148 rooms, this is going to be a smaller property, but with a smaller group of people, it is sometimes nice to stay at a smaller sized property so that you can easily fine one another throughout the day.
​
This is a Karisma property, and Karisma Resorts pride themselves on being Gourmet Inclusive and have excellent food! So, for the foodies in the group, this would be a great option!
​
They also have a sky wedding location at this resort, and I know that you liked the look of that at some of the other properties that we considered.

Karisma has a few wedding packages, I think the best one for what you are wanting would be the I Do Celebration which will include the ceremony, cocktail hour and a 3 hour reception and then a semi private dinner for the group on a separate night.

This is located in Playa Mujeres which is north of the Cancun hotel strip. I love this resort because of the beach in this area. You will not have as much seaweed to deal with and usually it is not an issue at all, so that will be very nice for a beach ceremony! There are also two swim-up bars including one in the Grotto which is under a waterfall.

Built in 2016, this resort has been kept up really well. There is also a Secrets next door and they do allow the adult guests at Dreams to access the Secrets property, so even though we would most likely want everyone staying at Dreams, this would give them free flow access to the adult only property if desired.

This is my top pick for Puerto Vallarta resorts for your wedding!​​

This will be more of a relaxing quiet trip for everyone, there is not a lot of extra stuff like waterparks or casinos at this resort. They have one main pool with a swim up bar. They do have like 2 waterslides, but I wouldn't call it a water park by any means.
​
It is a fairly small resort with just 327 rooms, so very easy to get around and it will feel like more of an intimate trip with you and your guests.
​
This is beautiful resort! There is a Secrets attached to it as well. In the picture, Secrets is on the right and Dreams is on the left, so you can see it is pretty much split right down the middle.

Keeping with the Puerto Vallarta theme, this is going to be a smaller resort with two main pool areas, one with a swim up bar.

The two things that will shine about this resort is the beach and the service!
